If you are looking for a new shopping experience look no further than Filene's Basement in Mercer Mall. The store opened about 9:30 this morning after a small ribbon cutting ceremony. Good Fun Had By All

People are still buzzing about the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame award dinner held last week. Good fun was had by all and well over 450 people attended the event at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton. If you weren't there, you missed a great time. From the moment the reception began you knew people were there to enjoy themselves, in fact Donald Loff, chairman of MRCC, had a hard time getting everyone to be quiet since people were talking and socializing so much. Everyone enjoyed the video profiles of the winners - The Trentonian, Corporation of the Year and Marsilio's, Oustanding Small Business of the Year - but the most moving part of the dinner was the speech given by Tim Losch who received the Citizens of the Year award. I'm looking forward to next year!
